Yasmin is an Egyptian-American businesswoman and singer/songwriter.  Her performance record ranges from performing in front of a Vermont Congressman, to singing at the Giza Pyramids. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music, she has enjoyed a successful career as a music entrepreneur, founding her company Nile Promotions, in Cairo, where she brought performers like Sami Yusuf, Julio Iglesias and others. Her last project with Nile Promotions was in partnership with the US Embassy in Cairo. Together, they established a grass-roots project, Sing Egyptian Women, an American Idol style competition, focused on giving women in Egypt an artistic platform.

She is now based in New York, having founded the MENA-USA artistic exchange non-profit, Izdahar, and serves as its Executive Director.
